Who is your role model, and why?
My mother, because she basically raised me by herself and has provided for me all of my life. She worked two or more jobs throughout my entire life up until this day even midnight jobs. She taught me that if you don’t work, you don’t eat without saying a word about it. My mom is the reason I am so hardworking and determined. I am forever grateful for her and I love her so much.
Who was your favorite teacher?
My favorite teacher was my 5th grade teacher Ms. Teasley.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Basketball and Baseball
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Honestly, I do not think I have gone up against a tough player that stood out to me but, if I had to pick I’d say Tre Jones that played for Mount Union
Who is the most underrated player on your team?
Terrance Cole/Andrew Ronski
What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?
Ace Hood- Keep On Praying
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Deandre Hopkins because he goes up and gets the ball, makes plays, and runs good routes. Also, because we both are dread heads and wear the #10.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Losing my grandfather before this season was something I had to cope with. I’m honestly still not over it but it makes me feel better knowing I’m doing what he wanted me to do.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Usually the night before the game i’ll do a little yoga to get me loose and figure out what my swag will consist of for the game. After that, in the morning I get up pray and watch a football pump up video. Then, right before the game I envision myself making plays.
What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?
The most memorable play of my college career was catching a screen and taking it about 45 yards to put my team in position to score the game winning touchdown with seconds left. Along with all of my pancakes.
What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?
It was raining hard one day as I was passing the lunch lady Brenda soaked and struggling on her way to work. So I turned around and held my umbrella over her until she got to the door.
