Where do you play college football?

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Read to elementary kids on Friday’s during the spring. Also, we hosted Halloween with hawks where little kids can come to the gym in their Halloween costumes and play games with fellow athletes from various sports teams.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Business law

Where are you from?

Springfield, IL

Who is your role model, and why?

My uncle because he has been my father figure my whole life and has been there for me no matter what. He has shown me what it takes to take care of your family and always pushes me to do my best no matter what I do.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Soccer, baseball, basketball, and track

Did you play any other positions in football?

Corner and running back

At your position, what separates you from others?

Big physical receiver, can make tough catches and can take hits. Loves to block in the run game.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I watch the corners technique in the run game and pass. Also, I look for safeties to tell me what coverage they are in. I watch to see what receivers do in a route and if the corner bites on certain moves or not.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

CB Will Brown Tennessee Titans

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Hines Ward and Anquan Bolden because they are very physical receivers and made tough catches and were very good run blockers. They aren’t the fastest but they are very determined and precise route runners.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I look at my grandmas picture for a couple of minutes.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome? 

I feel like as a smaller schooler we have to overcome a problem of no exposure and proving to scouts and teams that we deserve a shot and that we can compete with big school players.

What is your biggest strength?

Physical and can make tough catches. And a good blocker.

What is your biggest weakness?

Routes when tired

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would say I will do anything to make the team better. I will come to work everyday with a high motor and a relentless pursuit to be great.I will show you how great I can be every single day. I will always value team success over my success. I would love to have the opportunity to play for your organization!

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

I watched YouTube videos on Cris Carter and Jerry Rice. I don’t have Dave a favorite team I just watch receivers like Odell, AB, AJ Green and etc.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Jerry Jones so I could convince him to sign me to the team. Stephen Curry, and Oprah

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

Donate some to charity and take care of my family.
