Nick Calvin, English teacher my senior year of high school. What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
This is really tough because I believe everybody has a unique skill set that makes them great but if I had to choose I would say, Mike Remmers. I chose him because we are a similar size and watching him over the years I see how he plays with great technique and competitiveness which I try to emulate in my own game.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
In my sophomore year of high school, I was moved from the varsity team to the junior varsity team and I used that as motivation to continually grow as a young man and player. Within a week of being moved down, I did everything the coaches asked of me to show them I can be counted on and I went on to start the final four games of the season on varsity.

Not really, I usually stay relaxed and never had a certain thing that I did before every single game. No superstitions or rituals for me.

The second TD run against SDSU

In 2013 at the Las Vegas Bowl we visited an elementary school and handed out brand new shoes to children who could not afford them. It was awesome to see the gratitude and excitement in their eyes to get new shoes of their choice before Christmas. Also how happy they were to meet college football players, it was weird to have somebody say they idolize you.
