Colts cut kick returner Griff Whalen; Team promotes RB from P/S
The Colts signed veteran return man Josh Cribbs this week and have now cut Griff Whalen today. Whalen was replaced by a running back from the team’s practice squad.

There it is: #Colts promote RB Zurlon Tipton from practice squad and waive WR Griff Whalen.
With Whalen released, the Colts have used the roster space to add running back Zurlon Tipton from the practice squad. Tipton signed as an undrafted free agent this year after a very good college career at Central Michigan.
