Chiefs will work out CB Makinton Dorleant today
We are learning that the Kansas City Chiefs will work out former Green Bay Packers defensive back Makinton Dorleant.
Dorleant was signed as an undrafted free agent last season by the Packers and made the 53 man roster. The former University of Northern Iowa defensive back is a speedster. He was a big-time recruit from Southwest Florida. Dorleant is a workout warrior. He runs a 4.3 forty, jumps 40 plus inches, and is a beast on special teams. He led the FCS in pass breakups as a senior.
Dorleant was a former Maryland Terrapin who left to get more playing time. Both Dorleant and Deiondre Hall were amazing for the Panthers defense at the University of Northern Iowa.
Chiefs scout Tim Terry is very familiar with Dorleant who was with Green Bay when they signed him. Dorleant had a workout last week with the Buffalo Bills. He is practice squad eligible, and other teams are interested in him.
