Chiefs RB Spencer Ware is carted off the field with a knee injury
The Kansas City Chiefs may have just lost their starting running back. Spencer Ware clutched his knee and was carted off the field moments ago. Ware was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He played in the 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He played college football at LSU.
During his football career, Ware rushed for 1,240 yards on 292 carries with ten touchdowns. Southeastern Conference coaches named him a second-team All-SEC selection after the 2011 season.
