Chargers TE Antonio Gates is 90 yards from being the All-Time Chargers receiving leader
This week the San Diego Chargers will face the Kansas City Chiefs in a dog fight of a divisional rivalry game. Antonio Gates, who is Philip Rivers main target is just 90 yards away from becoming the All-Time leading receiver in Chargers History. Antonio Gates needs just 90 yards to pass Lance Alworth’s franchise record of 9,584 receiving yards. Gates currently has 9,495 career receiving yards.
This week the banged up Chiefs will try their best to stop Gates, but I can see the former basketball star reeling in his 90 yards and two scores. Only three players in Chargers history have 9000 plus yards receiving, but Gates could be the first to hit the 10k mark.
