Carson Palmer says he may not play after the 2017 NFL season
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer says mentally he is not ready to retire, but he is still unsure he can make it after 2017.
It sounds like the former USC gunslinger is getting close to retirement. When healthy he is a great quarterback, I hope he can put on at least one or two more big seasons. I love when he is playing well.
Carson Palmer said mentally he was “never close” to retirement. Once he felt better physically, was excited to return.

Palmer said he has no idea if this is his last year. Will evaluate after the season like he does each year.
