Carolina Panthers have given up 75 points to AFC North opponents this year

camThis week the Cincinnati Bengals will play the Carolina Panthers without A.J. Green and Marvin Jones. Back in 2002, The Panthers’ scored 52 points against the Bengals which still stands as the most points Cincinnati has ever allowed in a single game. The Bengals lost that game 52-31.

Will that happen again? I doubt it because the Panthers have allowed a ton of points this year against AFC North opponents. A matter of fact the Panthers have given up 75 points against AFC North opponents this season. That’s 30 more than it’s given up in its other three games combined.

That is not good especially if they want to win this week against the beat up Bengals. I am not sure the Panthers can beat the Bengals coming off an embarrassing loss to the Patriots on Monday Night.  If Panthers want to win they are going to need to establish a running game. If they can in fact run the ball against the Bengals watch out they might surprise everyone and upset the Bengals.
