Is there any can’t miss player in the 2014 NFL Draft?
Over the past several seasons there were only a few can’t miss players that came out the NFL Draft. A few of the guys that were truly can’t miss players were Andrew Luck, Calvin Johnson, Adrian Peterson and Patrick Willis. When you look at the 2014 NFL Draft Class, I honestly do not feel that there is one player that really truly sticks out from the others.
To be hones this draft class is pretty deep, but it lacks that star power at the top of the draft. Almost every big time player that is coming out has some sort of red flag, or question mark in his game. Jadeveon Clowney has laziness issues, Blake Bortles own coach called him suspect, Johnny Football has a handful of issues, and so forth. I honestly feel the player that has the most star potential in this entire draft is Sammy Watkins from Clemson.
I feel that Watkins could be the biggest steal in the draft for whoever drafts him. The guy is an athletic freak who can play multiple positions. NFL teams are currently looking for that type of player. I don’t really see him as the best player but he is the best of the bunch in my opinion.
The next great player to come out of the NCAA will come out in 2015 in Jameis Winston. The kid has that “it” factor that every NFL team wants. I honestly would not be surprised if a team tries to lure a team to give them a first of next year to better their chances at landing the FSU standout.
