NFL Draft Diamonds Prospect Interview: Cameron Chambers, WR, Southern Utah

Q: What is your name

A: Cameron Chambers

Q: What’s your height and weight

A: 6’2 200 pounds

Q: What college did you attend

A: I attended Santa Monica College and Southern Utah University

Q: What was your most memorable experience during college

A: Clinching the winning touchdown against Northern Colorado and winning the 2017 Big Sky Championship.

Q: Who was the toughest player you ever played against

A: My teammate Jermaine Doubs. He was a good athlete and we pushed each other.

Q: Who do you try and mold your game after

A: Michael Crabree, Easily

Q: Who was your role model growing up

A: Never really had a role model but my mom worked very hard to make sure me and my brother were good growing up

Q: Who is your favorite NFL team

A: I’m born and raised in Dallas, TX. So Dallas Cowboys

Q: If you weren’t playing football. What would you be doing

A: Working in the car business while doing my fashion design stuff on the side

Q: What’s your favorite car

A: G-Wagon G63 AMG

Q: What did you major in during college

A: I’m a communication major

Q: How many offers did you get out of high school and why did you choose Santa Monica then Southern Utah

A: I didn’t have any offers out of high school and I wanted to get away from home, It was a really rushed process but I had a couple offers after finishing at Santa Monica. But those schools academic requirements didn’t match my transcript. That forced me to take my talents to Southern Utah. Didn’t know what to expect and I didn’t really go through the recruiting process talking with them much but it ended up being a cool place to be at.
