Browns head coach says Brock Osweiler has been a pleasant surprise

Could Brock Osweiler end up starting in Cleveland?

When the Cleveland Browns traded for Brock Osweiler they planned on just eating his salary cap and getting a second round pick for him. That was before Hue Jackson the head coach of the Browns began evaluating him. Hue Jackson seems to be liking Osweiler after watching him in practice.

“Brock’s been a pleasant surprise,” Jackson said. “He’s done a good job. He works hard at it every day. He’s into it. I think he really enjoys being here. I think he’s really meshed with the other quarterbacks. He has a good feel to him.”

“Since he’s been here he’s been outstanding,” he said. “I don’t judge people by what everybody else says, I judge them by what I see. . . . The guy’s been outstanding in our building and that’s what’s most important.”

Could the Browns end up getting a steal and starting Brock Osweiler? Zac Jackson of the TheAthletic.com has been saying after every practice that Osweiler looks the best of all quarterbacks. This could be something to monitor.
