Browns draft pick Caleb Brantley’s case has been dismissed

Caleb Brantley’s case has been dismissed

A day after Browns owner Dee Haslam told Dan Labbe of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, she was willing to trust their process that went into selecting the Florida defensive lineman when they did, his case was dismissed.

We really trust our football personnel group to make these decisions and they vet every situation very carefully,” Haslam said. “They do their research. We trusted that, and we have to trust in that.”

According to the Tampa Bay Times’ own Matt Baker the battery case against Browns sixth-round DT Caleb Brantley has been dismissed.

This is huge news for Brantley, and is pretty amazing for the Browns who now look like they stole Brantley as late as they did.
