Broncos lose Montee Ball, Julius Thomas & Emmanuel Sanders to injury

monteeThe Denver Broncos have been pretty solid this year because they have had players step up and fill in for injured players. Well today the Broncos might need to rely on two different players to step up for them as they trail the Rams 13-7.

Both Montee Ball and Julius Thomas have left the game with injuries. Julius Thomas exited Week 11 against the Rams with an ankle injury and is questionable to return, while Montee Ball re-injured his groin.

Ball limped off the field after his first play back from a five-game absence. He tried to re-enter, but popped the groin again trying to make a catch out of the backfield. Ball’s season may be over.
Emmanuel Sanders was also injured pretty badly when he was rocked diving for a pass moments ago.  I would expect the team to run the concussion protocol for him if he suffered a head injury.
Expect C.J. Anderson to lead the way.
