Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Our team works with the Pediatric Hospital to mentor children with medical conditions. It’s a blast joking around with them when they come to practices and games.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Computer Architecture

Where are you from?

Davenport, IA

Who is your role model, and why?

My parents. They work hard and tell me to chase my dreams.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Hockey, soccer, track

Did you play any other positions in football?

Linebacker

At your position, what separates you from others?

Anticipation of the offensive lineman and choosing which technique to use

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

How the line comes off the ball. How they react to different attacks. Tendencies.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

It’s hard to pick the toughest.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Von Miller. I try to use my quickness to open up space in the pass rush.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Foam Rolling

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

It would be nice to get the attention large schools get from their local areas/states, but ultimately it’s just finding ways to push yourself to get better

What is your biggest strength?

 Discipline to prepare

I make it a habit to work and develop as a player everyday
