Brandon Browner could miss the remainder of the season for the Seahawks

Coach Pete Carroll acknowledged that RCB Brandon Browner (groin) may not return this season and is expected to miss at least 4-6 weeks. This is a huge blow for the Seahawks.

Browner was injured in Week 10 against the Falcons and has tissue damage in the groin area. Carroll had previously stated that Browner would be out “quite a while,” but we now have a clearer picture of what Browner is dealing with.

Browner is currently Pro Football Focus’ No. 35 corner. His replacement opposite Richard Sherman, Walter Thurmond III, checks in at the No. 23 slot. It sounds like the Seahawks may simply be hoping to get Browner back for the playoffs.

The Seahawks will hope that Browner can be ready for the playoffs, because the team will be able to use him.
