Bears take a huge loss, they lose LB Lance Briggs for 4-6 weeks

Linebacker Lance Briggs will miss 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury suffered in Sunday’s loss at Washington, according to Pro Football Talk. They are reporting the injury will not require surgery.

Briggs, 32, has recorded 64 tackles and two sacks for Chicago this season. He has not missed a regular-season game since 2010. Briggs is the teams true leader.  This is a huge loss, since last week they lost D.J. Williams and replaced him with rookie Jon Bostic.  I am not sure who the Bears are going to sign, but they will definitely need to find a replacement.

Could Brian Urlacher get a phone call back?
