6’1 215lbs

Safety but also played corner

Trinity International University

Richmond, Texas

Who is your role model, and why?

My father is my role model because he showed me how to become a man. He taught me how react to pressure, how to work hard, and, which I think is the most important, he taught me how to listen and learn.

Who was your favorite teacher?

I would say my favorite teacher was Mrs. Jackson she was a Math teacher who pushed me to be the best me and she always showed me support.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I ran track and played basketball. I ran the 400, the 4 by 4, and the 100. I played basketball not for school but for recreational clubs in middle school.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

I would say it’s a tie with this receiver who now plays for Steven Simms and a player who now plays for Sterling College Ralph Williams. They both use to be teammates of mine. They were just really quick and really good route runners and they made me realize I needed to work on my technique to be a better player.

Who is the most underrated player on your team?

Brad Mowbray he is just an animal and because he is a short white kid he isn’t ever going to get the recognition he deserves but he does it all.

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

I don’t get fired up before games I like ti be chill and focused so I usually listen to Gospel music to focus. My favorite would be anything by Kirk Franklin

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I think I would say Landon Collins because I’m not the fastest but my skills come from being a hard hitter and always in the right spot.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My father passing away probably was the toughest thing I had to go through because he was so big in my life and I don’t think I showed him how much I appreciated him. I think being able to talk about him with others helps me overcome his loss because it’s like he never left.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Yeah I listen to Gospel music all day and then I call my mom, brother, and older sister they always know how to get me ready.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

Scoring a touchdown against the reigning national champs

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

Helping out at me church I always loved it. It was fun and I knew I was helping people out so it made it even better.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

The New Orleans Saints. WHO DAT NATION BABY!!! I’ve been a saints fan for so long. I was born in New Orleans and moved because of country just in case you needed a reason why.
