Is Aaron Rodgers hissy fit causing a problem between fans? | The odds of them winning the Super Bowl continue to drop

Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but he cannot lead his team to the Super Bowl alone. Right now the fans are already giving up on the team. The odds continue to drop.

The NFL Draft has come and went, and pretty soon we will be talking about who is going to win the Super Bowl. Many have the Chiefs dominating once again and getting back, and the Buccaneers coming out of the NFC. Well, that is great, but several teams are falling out of the talk.

According to SportsBettingDime after the 2021 NFL Draft, the Ravens fell out of the top five Super Bowl contenders; the Packers odds have fallen to +2000 with Aaron Rodgers reportedly very unhappy with the team.

When you look at the Aaron Rodgers situation it is disheartening. I was talking to a good friend of mine the other day who is a die-hard Packers fan and he told me he would not mind if Rodgers was gone. I was shocked when I heard it, but many of the Packers fans are split on his hissy fit.

This week Packers CEO Mark Murphy took a question on the team’s website and he actually addressed it about the Aaron Rodgers situation.

A fan named Ken writes to Murphy: “You have done a great job. Don’t let the bastards drag you down. Washington needs a name. I suggest the Generals.”

“Thanks, Ken,” Murphy writes. “The situation we face with Aaron Rodgers has divided our fan base. The emails and letters that I’ve received reflect this fact. As I wrote here last month, we remain committed to resolving things with Aaron and want him to be our quarterback in 2021 and beyond. We are working to resolve the situation and realize that the less both sides say publicly, the better. With regard to the Washington Football Team, it looks like they will be the WFT for at least one more year. I like the Washington Generals name, but it is already taken. Have you ever seen a Harlem Globetrotters game? Also, the Washington Generals don’t have a very good record (1 win, 16,000 losses).”

There is another team that is in an uproar over things happening off the field, that team is the Houston Texans. I never thought they were a Super Bowl contender but they cannot find season ticket holders even. Yesterday, The Tennessee Titans pulled off a blockbuster trade with the Atlanta Falcons to land Julio Jones which will likely help their shot at getting to the big dance.

The Bills are still a force in the AFC, but as you can read above the Ravens fell out of the top five to make the Super Bowl when it comes to odds. The NFL will be a real crap shoot this year, but I honestly would not be surprised if a team like the Los Angles Rams, or Indianapolis Colts made a run, because both have quarterbacks with a new change of scenery. I think many of the rookie quarterbacks will struggle, especially with fans in the stands, but this year has already proved to be interesting.

If the Packers do in fact end up trading Rodgers, whatever team lands him could see a huge change when it comes to the odds. One team to keep an eye on for that to happen would be the Denver Broncos. It could end up being quite the bet!
