49ers will not have Aldon Smith this week against the Saints
Despite ongoing speculation that San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith would indeed have his sentence reduced, he will now serve the full suspension.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports, via two sources involved with the outside linebacker’s situation, Smith will not be reinstated this week.
This is not good news for the Niners who are beat up on the defensive side of the ball right now.
