Texas running back Roschon Johnson suffered a broken hand on the first day of Senior Bowl practices and will miss the rest of the week, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Johnson spent four years with the Longhorns before foregoing his final year of collegiate eligibility to enter the 2023 NFL Draft. He also opted out of Texas’ Alamo Bowl loss to Washington.

The 2022 season marked Johnson’s third with at least 500 rushing yards.

He ended his Texas career with 392 carries for 2,190 yards and 23 touchdowns while also hauling in 420 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
