49ers make their decision on Jimmy Garoppolo | The Niners do not see him returning in 2023
Jimmy Garoppolo is going to be available in free agency, and there are several needed teams right now at the quarterback position.
The Niners are a perfect example that you cannot have enough solid quarterbacks on your roster. The 49ers were down to their fourth quarterback in the NFC Championship game last week.
When Kyle Shanahan was asked if Jimmy Garoppolo would be returning to San Francisco in 2023, he was very frank saying “No, I don’t see any scenario of that.”
Garoppolo stepped in and played well. He completed 67.2 percent of his passes for 2,437 yards with 16 touchdowns and four interceptions.
