What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I decided to be a football player when I was in 4th, 5th grade. I wanted to pursue in football because I saw myself stand out from other athletes and enjoyed it.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

My achievement I want to achieve as a football player is just to become a great receiver and be a role model for athletes back where I am from. Let them know that just because being from a small state doesn’t mean you can’t get to where you want to get too!

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would like to hang out with AJ Green! I’d like to spend the day with AJ Green because I compare my game to him!! I used to watch his highlights and documentaries and would see myself playing like him! I loved how he used to do juggling for hand eye coordination and what his motivation was, and why he was doing what he was doing!

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My #1 definitely has to be scoring my first collegiate touchdown! It was a great feeling. Then would be after going through the JUCO route, getting D1 offers and talking with coaches, because if you went through the junior college route you would know how hard and serious it is to get yourself out. In juco it’s on all on yourself! Then I can’t forget about Friday night lights! Loved playing Friday night in high school.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom! I wouldn’t be where I’m at without her. She’s sacrificed so much for me and I owe her everything. That’s why I work so hard and won’t stop until I get to where I want to be at! I promised her that she wouldn’t have to pay for me to go to college and I did that, and I promised her I’ll be in the NFL one day and I will make that dream come true to her because I owe her everything!

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

I like the air raid offense! I think every wide receiver loves the air raid because you are probably throwing the ball 75% of the game. So that’s so many opportunities to get the ball.

What should we know about Jevin Frett the person?

On my free time I like to play the video games. That’s my favorite hobby! But in the football area, I’m a hard worker and don’t ever give up! Always gonna push through no matter the situation. After my football career I still want to be apart of football and become a coach. And give and help other athletes! I always put people before me, always check up on someone and see if I can help in any way.

What stands out about your film the most?

That I am a fast and physical receiver and deep threat! With good hands and makes spectacular catches.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

On the field when a play doesn’t go my way, I think about the play and what to do to not be in that situation. Then turn to the next play. Off the field I talk to someone I trust and seek advice and be open to there answers.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a hard worker! Every player says that but I have sources and coaches that can vouch for me! They will also get a consistent Jevin Frett everyday!

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love competing! The whole game of football is competing and I am a competitor.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

My boy from back at home! Logan Tomlinson! He went to a D3 little Ivy League school back in CT and just transferred to a D1 in Connecticut! He changed from a QB to WR and he’s a dog!
