I played both basketball and football but I found the most joy and fun in football, I found myself perfecting my craft consistently in football and that’s when I knew this is for me.

My favorite moment would be being on a championship team at southeastern, being around those guys and apart of a brotherhood, they taught me a lot my first year in college and those guys will always be apart of me.

Being a better me, game by game, year by year just continue to get better. I want to be remembered as a symbol of what happens when you don’t give up on your dreams and overcome adversity.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

If I had to choose someone from the past I would choose Ray Lewis, he is a iconic player and his work ethic is unmatched. I grew up watching him since 2001 and ever since he’s been a idol for me. As far as the present I would want to hang out with Travis Kelce, he is one of my idols now and I like to sculpt some of my game from what he does.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My father, the reason being is because my dad has overcome so much adversity in his life and he’s a fighter. He raised me to become the man and athlete I am today and he has always been in my corner and have supported me to the maximum.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Spread, I like the spread scheme because the game today has shown that the TE position had evolved and I like to show my versatility as well. Being matched up against linebackers and nickels showing I can get open.

What should we know about Nura Sales the person?

You should know that I am a hard worker that wants greatness, not only for me but for the people around me. Being successful and giving my all to any organization I’m apart of. That I’m the first to show up and also the last to leave.

What stands out is that I can make something out of nothing. Being able to get the ball and show my athleticism. Being able to make plays.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle challenges by finding the best outcome, I never run away from my challenges or problems but I find a way to overcome them. On the field by not letting a bad play effect my game but bouncing back and doing my job.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would get a player that’s versatile and can do both TE and WR. Someone that brings energy to the field and an athlete that is physical and willing to do what needs to be done to win.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

What I love the most about this game is the chance to show the type of athlete you are, the chance to get out there and compete and have fun. Meet athletes from everywhere who love the game as much as you and are on the same mission as you.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Some honorable mentions would be Railond Garrett and Antwain Adams, those 2 guys have taught me a lot on and off the field and they are both hard working great athletes that helped me push for greatness and pushed me to be the best I can be, they are 2 of the many that I will forever appreciate.
