Growing up my dad had me in all different sports and football was my favorite. I remember watching Ray Lewis when I was a kid and saw the excitement he gave me watching him play and knew I wanted to be just like that when I grew up.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I hope to achieve to have an opportunity to play in the NFL. Also, to get better in all aspects to help my team win.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

It would be Ray Lewis. His impact on the game lives on even through this era of football and I feel like I would gain so much knowledge from him regarding football and life.

My dad inspires me the most. He’s the strongest person I know of. He beat kidney cancer when I was a kid and is on dialysis until this day. He lives a playful life and I just want to make him proud.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

In college we ran a 3-4 front. This was my favorite because it gave us the opportunity to use our strengths to our max potential. Also, our DC had us know the playbook like the back of our hand so everyone had a specific role to play in it and we ended up being the #1 defense in the nation.

I handle both life and football challenges the same. When adversity hits I choose to not let it affect me for too long. I move on from the situation and find ways to be successful. On the football field I have a next play mentality, if something goes wrong I just focus on the next play and find ways to get better through out the game.
