What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Watching the game when I was younger, Michael Vick was electric.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Perfecting my craft in all aspects of the game, either in the run game or passing game. As a player, there’s always areas to improve in.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Trent Williams, so he could possibly put tools in my toolbox to help sharpen my game.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

In college and high school, winning a championship is the best feeling because you’re proud of all your hard work.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My grandmother, the way she dealt with adversity will always be motivation for me.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Spread, mainly because if you have a dual threat QB, RPOs (Run-Pass Option) is lethal for defenses to defend if executed properly.

What should we know about Maurice Campbell the person?

I’m resilient, don’t quit easily. And my goal is to have a family, be a great husband and father and live a comfortable life.

What stands out about your film the most?

Displacement of defenders in the run game, creating running lanes and opening up gaps is important to help the offensive flow and play calling.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

By controlling what I can, not worrying about the situations.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team first player.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

Bonding with my teammates, having chemistry is the key to success for most teams. I feel like that’s where most teams lack.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Roger Smith, he’s a young guy with amazing skill set for his size. He will definitely be an NFL prospect his senior year.
