What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

As a kid it was always a dream of mine that I wanted to accomplish. It’s in me, always has been and it always will be.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

How to adapt to different environments and situations. As I continue to grow older I want to mature more.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Probably would be Chauncey Gardner-Johnson because of his swag & versatility. I love how he flys around the ball for Philly.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My juco years at Jones and winning my last college game which was the Lendingtree bowl with Southern Miss.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mother because whenever I felt like the world was against me she was always there for me. she’s my backbone.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

4-3 defense or nickel formation. I love playing with speed on the field so maybe more dbs.

What should we know about Lakevias Daniel the person?

That he’s very ambitious and has a purpose. No matter the circumstance or situation I’m going to continue to be me. A leader, uplifting, positive and humble.

What stands out about your film the most?

I’m undersized for my position so I have to play with a chip on my shoulder. I’m very good at open field tackling and tracking the ball through the air.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I would go to someone that I can trust such as one of my strength coaches, and we would talk about anything. He helped me through a lot and was more like a mentor to me.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A real team player I am definitely for my teammates. The bond and brotherhood can’t be beat whenever we connect on a team.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The passion and hard work it takes to become successful as a team.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Jason Brownlee, because I’ve watched him grow over the years as a person and as a player plus we have a lifelong relationship since like middle school.
