Justin Hodges the University of Central Florida’s defensive back was arrested yesterday and charged with home invasion robbery with a firearm and a mask.

UCF immediately dismissed him from the football team.

“Justin Hodges has been dismissed from the football program,” a spokesperson for UCF Athletics. “Per university policy, the UCF student conduct process will be initiated.”

A victim told police that “several unknown black males with masks and firearms barged into his home and beat him up, threatened him with their guns in an extremely violent manner and stole his phone and recording equipment.

When the victim answered the door, he was pushed into the apartment and struck in the face by the male suspects that entered, according to police. Firearms were present and used to take the victim’s property.

The Fort Lauderdale native appeared in 14 games for the Knights and racked up 40 tackles, with 5 PBU’s and an interception.

This is a bad look for a very solid football player.
