Indiana Star Football Player Johnathan Brown was shot and killed in a Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot
Johnathan Brown was a star football player for Merrillville High School in Indiana, who had a bright future on the football field. According to police reports, he was shot and killed outside a Buffalo Wild Wings in Merrillville, Indiana.
Police arrived to a shooting to find the football star shot with life-threatening wounds.
Brown was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Another 18-year-old from Merrillville, Ind., was also shot and drove himself to a Gary hospital, where he was treated and later released.
Merrillville High School tweeted out this message regarding the shooting.
“Please keep the Family, Friends, and Pirate Football Family in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of senior Johnathan Brown. He brought a great smile and joy to our football program. He will be missed.”
