What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I have been running track my whole life, dominating in events when I was younger. I decided to take my talents to the field because with my speed I knew I could be successful. My favorite player is Reggie Bush. Watching him play at USC gave me more motivation and confidence to play.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

This previous year against Valdosta State on a big 3rd down I was playing man coverage against their better receivers. They went deep and I played tremendous defense and stoped him. This then led to my team and I winning the GSC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP!!

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I’ve been a player that’s had to beat the odds all my life. All I’m looking for is an opportunity to showcase my speed and my ability to make game changing plays.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I’d love to hangout with Reggie Bush like I mentioned above. He is my favorite player and a role model to me on and off the field. I would just want to learn from him so he could teach me his perspective of things as far as when the ball is in his hands and his mindset when it’s crunch time.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

All of my siblings and cousin inspire me in different ways so with that being said they all do. They love me unconditionally and that’s all I can ask for. They push me and motivate me everyday.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I love a man defensive scheme. In my opinion watching two players go at it 1v1 gives me so much excitement because we will see who has really been working.

What should we know about Da’Quan Bailey-Brown the person?

I’m a great person that loves the Lord. I motivate my peers and project positive energy to the community. I show people what hard work looks like that why I go by 1000 reps. But more importantly God brought me here to show love, support, and establish positive relationships with people.

What stands out about your film the most?

When you turn my film on, the first thing that will stick out the most is my ability to run. My speed is incredible, if I’m blessed enough to get a shot on a team they will see my blazing 4.3 speed every snap.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I pray. God knows my heart and my desires. When I feel like things may be getting out of control I pray and God brings me peace.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team will be getting a player that loves to work that is eager to learn day in and day out. But more importantly to impact my teammates push them to be best version of themselves. I will show them why I deserve to be there.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

Football has no color. I feel like that’s the best part about this game.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

The most underrated player I’ve ever played with would probably be Isaiah Harris. Isaiah and I shared same athletic like value but he did something’s better than me and vise versa. I appreciate him because he would pick my chin up when nobody else would. I wish him nothing but the best.
