Colts fans start a petition to prevent the team from hiring Jeff Saturday as their next Head Coach

Rumors flew this past week that Jim Irsay the owner of the Indianapolis Colts still wanted Jeff Saturday to be the next head coach of his beloved Colts.

Jordan Schultz posted this last week and the Colts fans went nuts.

The petition, which is hosted on change.org, has garnered 3,836 signatures in the four days it’s been active. They wanted 2,500 signatures and it has already surpassed that mark so they raised it up to 5,000 signatures.

Shawn Ward started the petition with a message to the Colts owner.

We as Colts fans will always love the memories of the SB XLI team; we love the former players and the people they’ve become, but we don’t want Jeff Saturday as the head coach of this team going forward.

Please hire someone with experience and save your fan base from revolting and losing interest.

You have to love it! Colts fans do not want the former UDFA prospect as their head coach.
