The NFL is already highly criticized for how they handle concussions in the NFL, and now it seems the Dolphins are under the microscope again after Tua Tagovailoa suffered another concussion and was entered in protocol yesterday.

A video was released from ML Football that shows Tua’s head rocket off the turf again. The Dolphins did not pull him from the game. They allowed him to play the entire second half and it was not pretty. The Dolphins would eventually end up losing 26-20 where he threw three interceptions on his final three possessions.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel told reporters on Monday that he is unsure of when Tagovailoa may have suffered his latest head injury. Teddy Bridgewater will take a majority of the first team reps in practice with Tua in the concussion protocol. The question now remains what to do with Tua and his injury status?

This is the third concussion of the season. It first started in September when he hit his head off the field against Buffalo, then again against Cincinnati. Now the third time happened against the Packers. The NFL should put a cap on head injuries because they have been sued so bad in the past for CTE in their players. A concussion is not good, it means the brain is rattling around inside the skull.

Many feel it takes a long time for a concussion to totally heal and Tua has not really had a break from the first time he was injured. He has had 3 major concussions in four months. That is not healthy for anyone, the NFL has to step in at sometime right?
