What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Started playing when I was 5 and I loved it and the excitement it always brought me to play football.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

The bonds and friendships I have made and the lives I have impacted and inspired from the game.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Making it to the NFL and reaching my full potential!

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Emmitt Smith, because he’s my All time favorite player and I would love to be in the presence of a Great and getting wisdom from him.

Which one of of family members inspires you the most and why?

My Grandma Emma because there has been times where the doctors counted her out and she never gave up and that always inspires me to never give up!

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Spread offense, because teams can’t just stack the box all the time and you can do so much more out of the spread.

What should we know about Nasir Smith the person?

I’m a hardworking person, I love to inspire and motivate the youth. My goal in life is to have a positive impact on as many people lives as I can.

What stands out about your film the most?

My IQ of the game. My vision, patience and power, also my ability to catch the ball out of the backfield.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Just always keep my chin up and chest out and always keep going. Challenges are part of life and football. The challenges I have been through have made me into the person I am today so I’m forever grateful for them.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A player who really loves the game, who is going to give it his all, A leader and most importantly a great teammate and player.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The grind and the whole process of it. Also the bonds and relationships you make from it.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

AJ Licata, he was a 2X D3 All American who easily could’ve played at the D1 level and he was one of the top linebackers I’ve ever played with, he was always all over the field making plays.
