The Detroit Lions will not face Mike “Fing” White, because the team doctors in New York are refusing to allow him to play.
According to Adam Schefter, Mike White suffered an unspecified rib injury in their loss to the Bills and the Jets doctors will not sign off on him playing this week.
Wilson, who has been inactive the past three weeks after being benched, is back as the Jets starter as they look to snap a two-game losing streak and keep their playoff hopes on track.
Can Zach Wilson win his job back? If he can stop the red-hot Detroit Lions who are 5-1 in their last six games, he could actually put himself back in the driver’s seat.
It will be interesting to see how the Jets players rally around the news of Zach Wilson starting.
