What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?

I believe what makes me a top prospect in this year’s 2023 NFL draft, Is my athleticism. I can do so much on the football field, no matter where you put me, I have the psychic strength and knowledge to be anywhere on the defensive side of the ball. What is already known, I attended a smaller university playing defensive end. However, I can also play outside linebacker and have a nickel back/ DB body. With these aspects to my play style, I also have great speed and field speed. 

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I believe it was around the age of 10, when I played for a little league team. But, due to an injury from baseball I really did not start playing football until 8^th grade. I always kind of joke with people and say, I started playing football around 8^thgrade, but it was not until my parents enrolled me into a football program my senior year of high school called I-DareU; lead by former Collegiate/Professional Defensive Back Glenn Ford. I believe this is where I found my thrive and love for the game of football. This program really instilled the basic fundamentals and techniques of football, which helped me prepare for college camps, and also developed me into the player I am today.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

One thing NFL teams should know about me is when it comes to football, I am a sponge. I retain the information my coaches teach me, I am coachable along with being a team player, and I execute my assignment on the field. On the same hand, If I am wrong or run a play wrong, I own up to my mistake and apply correction when needed. No matter if I know the play or not, I will execute each rep at 110% no matter what. Lastly, I like to study my opponent’s footage prior to the game in order to learn their tendencies. Then after the game, I like to study my own footage to improve my style of play.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

If I could donate to one cause in the world it would be the Dyslexia Foundation to help children with special educational needs. However, I would also have to donate to the Stewart Foundation (Atlanta, GA), which helps promote excellence in youth programming through health and financial wellness, community services, educational, and social programs. 

What is the best advice you have ever received?

“To be yourself.” I say this because a lot of people like to put on what I called “a different face”. What you will see from me is what you will get from me. 

Who was your childhood hero?

My Mother and Father. Both of my parents really inspired me to keep going and never give up on my dreams. They taught me, no matter the optical, keep God first and do not let anyone tell you anything different. 

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Daylan Littlejohn #97. He was definitely a huge asset to our team. However, he received the least amount of recognition because he plays 3 and 0 technique.  

What is your biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve is when I am showing something on my phone to someone else, and they have to hold and take my phone out of my hands just to see it.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

Coming out of high school I did not have a qualifying ACT/ SAT score, although my GPA was high. Many schools that were interested in me, stopped pursuing because of my low-test scores. After multiple retests, I finally received a passing score. Then, I received an offer from Baker University. I would be forever grateful for the opportunity that Baker has given me. I am proud I did not give up, and I was able to complete my collegiate career at Baker University with a degree in Recreation and a Minor in Sports Administration. I am currently pursuing my Master in Sports Marketing. 

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Although it is a small school, the faculty and staff at Baker University really care about your education, and they love to see you thrive in the world.

What is your favorite snack food?

Chocolate pretzels, fruit; specifically, pineapples, and ice cream.  

What is the best part of football?

I would have to say the best part of football is watching film with coaches after practice and before football games. It is very humbling. 

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

“I love to Knock people out, the right way.” 

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

Vic Beasley.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Steve Harvey, Ray Lewis, Denzel Washington. I love listening to their motivational speeches. They always have encouraging words that have pushed me to do better in every aspect of my life.
