Josh McDaniels throws his QB Derek Carr under the bus saying we need to throw the ball better
Josh McDaniels should be fired too. I know Nathaniel Hackett was fired this weekend, but let’s face it the Raiders have a stacked team and they are playing horribly right now. Josh McDaniels was paid too much money and now the Raiders are likely stuck with him. The Raiders fans deserve better, and so does Derek Carr. The star quarterback was thrown under the bus by his head coach when asked by media what needs to be better.
McDaniels told reporters the passing game.
“That’s not good enough, you know what I mean?” McDaniels said, via Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “And for us to be able to win this time of the year and be productive offensively, you have to throw the ball better than what we’ve thrown it at times here over the last month-in-a-half.”
McDaniels was asked if the team would bench Carr for Jarrett Stidham and he said it is a possibility.
“There’s a possibility that we would do the right thing, regardless of the position.”
Raiders do not have much time to make a decision. The Raiders are set to give Derek Carr a fully guaranteed 32.9 million dollars in 2023 the day after the Super Bowl. It sounds like they are preparing themselves for a break up.
