Jets could end up with Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year
The New York Jets easily had the best draft of any team in 2023. Their scouting staff did their homework and were hitting tons of homeruns last year. They drafted Ahmad “Sauce’ Gardner in the first round who has turned into a shutdown corner in his rookie season. He has easily won the DROY for me, and now Vegas is taking notice in the Jets other first round pick Garrett Wilson.
According to the odds, Garrett Wilson is now the odds favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year. The former Ohio State wide receiver has surpassed Kenneth Walker Jr. the Seahawks star running back with the best odds.
Wilson was drafted 10th overall and he has been terrific. He has hauled in 63 passes for 868 yards and 4 touchdowns. The Jets are going to be a dangerous team in the future. If Breece Hall did not get hurt the Jets would easily be a playoff team. They are getting things turned around. Imagine if they draft a big time QB next year…..
