Former Star Ferris State and Harlon Hill Winning QB Jayru Campbell arrested after police standoff brandishing scissors holding his daughter

Former Star Ferris State QB Jayru Campbell arrested after police standoff

Jayru Campbell the star quarterback from Ferris State was arrested in a scary police standoff wielding a pair of scissors and his daughter.

Campbell was arrested and booked on Christmas Day after a standoff with police. This happened in a psychiatric facility in Auburn Hills while Campbell live streamed the standoff in two videos.

We will not release the two videos because Jayru is obviously really upset in the videos and makes some comments like below.

At one point in his second video, Campbell told the officers, “Try whatever you (expletive) want. Let’s do it, my boy. Self defense. Come on. I’m stabbing anything come to this (expletive), bro. Trust me. Anything. Trust me, (expletive). On God.” Campbell said those words while visibly pointing the scissors at the officers and still holding the little girl.

Campbell is going off on police and has a pair of scissors in his hand. The former Ferris State QB was a beast in Division 2 leading his team to the Division 2 National Championship in 2018. He was also the Harlon Hill Trophy winner.

Please pray that Jayru gets the help he needs, and both him and his girl are able to work out their situation for that baby girl. So sad.
