Man arrested for the murder of CFL football player Christian Saulsberry | Charged with 2nd degree murder
Mark McDaniel was arrested and charged with second degree murder for the shooting that resulted in the death of former West Alabama star wide receiver Christian Saulsberry.
Saulsberry was shot twice according to police reports. According to the family of the suspect Mark McDaniel, the shooting was sparked by a fight at a party.
According to WREG, McDaniels uncle claims that McDaniel was attacked by multiple people, including Saulsberry who tried to hit him as he left.
According to the report, the Uncle claims his nephew shot in self defense.
Police have charged McDaniel with second degree murder. Please keep the family of Christian in your prayers. I am so saddened by this senseless crime.
