A 14-year-old standout football player in Washington DC shot and killed

You have to ask yourself, what is going on in Washington D.C., yesterday we reported that Commanders running back Brian Robinson was shot by a 14 and 16-year-old in the Nation’s Capital, and now a 14-year-old star football player with dreams of playing in the NFL is dead.

14-year-old Antoine Manning survived a shooting last month, before he was shot and again and died.

He passed away at a nearby hospital.

According to the Washington Post, In the last two weeks alone, at least four teenagers or children have been shot in D.C. A 15-year-old was shot aboard a Metro train. A 4-year-old was wounded by a bullet not meant for him. Another 15-year-old was killed on a porch, with the popping of gunfire sending kids at a nearby bus stop sprinting away. Backpacks bounced on their backs as they screamed and cried.

According to the reports, Antoine a ninth-grader was shot and wounded back in October before returning to the same spot he was shot. He was shot again and this time did not make it. Police believe this was a targeted attack, but this is just sad.

Please keep the family in your prayers.
