What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

My older brother and dad played football and I was always around football. My brother Rei’s game was on TV and I would watch it. I started playing Madden. too. I was just naturally drawn in but I grew a passion for it and became natural to football. 

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I think my favorite moments from football would have to be playing running back and scoring a touchdown in pop warner. 

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I’m looking to achieve as a football player going forward would be winning a national championship and trying to further my football to the next level. 

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I think I would hangout with Aaron Donald because he’s the most dominant defense line player in the NFL and i would love to hangout with him.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

I would say my parents inspire me the most because they would sacrifice anything for me and they have been supporting my football career throughout my life and I love them so much. 

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

My favorite defense scheme would be just playing in a base front and not blitzing because it lets the defense line work and make some disruptions on plays and it gets the defense line to work. Also, I like when their is a defense line stunt too. 

What should we know about Metoriah Faoliu the person?

He works hard and is relentless to reach his goals. He’s goofy, courteous, loves his family and friends hard and has a one million dollar smile. He speaks through his actions. 

What stands out the most about your film?

What stands out of my film would be my drive on each play and always trying to make the play or my hands always working. Also, me firing off the ball and causing disruption.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

How I handle challenges both in life and on the football field would be having a mindset that everything happens for a reason and wait on god and trust him on the process and let everything play out. 

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would get a consistent player that would be a team player for the team and do what is needed to do for the team to win or be successful and a player that will work his tail off on the field and off. 

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

I plan on training either at Saint Cloud or Saint John’s University or either go back home to California and train with my coach Dechon Burns from Linfield. 

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

The most underrated player I’ve played with would be Tavis Shippen because that man used to make plays that he wasn’t even supposed to and he’s just a good football player.
