One dead, two injured during a High School football shooting in Orlando, Florida
It is playoff football in Florida High Schools and tensions are high. Last night Jones High School was taking on Wekiva High School when the game was halted due to problems off the field. Police responded to a shooting around 8:22 pm after shots rang out in a parking lot north of the football field.
Two adult men were found with gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A third person rushed themselves to the hopstial after being shot according to police.
According to OPD Chief Eric Smith, four people have been detained, and one of them possessed a firearm.
