What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft?

I have a combination of speed, strength, and agility that makes me stand out at the receiver position. I’m a technical route runner which allows me to create separation coming in and out of my breaks and have strong hands so when that ball is thrown in my direction, I’m going to go get it. I have a high football IQ and can understand concepts and strategies easily.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I fell in love with football at 6 years old growing up in Katy, Texas.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I’m a tenacious competitor and when I put my mind to something, I’m going to make it happen.

Housing and food insecurity in immigrant communities.

Nicholas Gendron, Wide Receiver.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Messiness.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

Shortly after moving to Louisiana, Hurricane Katrina hit, so my family and I had to move for the second time in a matter of months. We ended up moving to Texas with plans to go back but the damage was more severe than we had anticipated so we stayed in Texas.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

The relationships I’ve formed with my teammates, past and present, as well as other varsity athletes at the university are what make it so special to me.

What is your favorite snack food?

Chocolate covered almonds

What is the best part of football?

Winning.

Elijah Moore

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Jesus, Nipsey Hussle, and Kobe Bryant. These people have inspired me in completely different ways at different stages in my life but the commonality between the three is their wisdom and their excellence in the different things they did. A conversation with them would be very valuable for me in developing as an athlete and as a person.
