What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2023 NFL Draft?

First and foremost I’m a firm believer in work ethic, preparation is the key to success and I refuse to get outworked. On the field, my versatility as a running back separates me.  My ability to be a three-down back translates well, I can block well, run the ball between the tackles, and make explosive plays in the passing game.  I approach the game from a physical standpoint, using the run game to impose your will on defences and setting the tone for the game is important.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

At 15, I started playing in my sophomore year of highschool, I had moved and it was the first time I went to a school with a team, and I fell in love with it ever since.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I want teams to know that I’m a guy who’s hard to outwork, and I dedicate a considerable amount of  time to developing my craft. There’s nothing more I love more than competition, I play the game to win, nothing feels better. On top of that I’m a playmaker. I play for the team and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would donate to education. Specifically education for youth in underdeveloped parts of the world. I believe education leads to opportunity, there are so many hidden gems out there and with a little support we could improve a lot of lives.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

“A loss is a lesson”.

Who was your childhood hero?

My mother, our family has been through a lot, she was always there to hold it down and keep our house a home.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Tolu Ahmed, definitely and probably one of the most athletic guys in the country, flies under the radar but he’s a huge part of our defence at the boundary corner position.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Wasted potential

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

The most adversity I’ve had to overcome would be immigrating to Canada at the age of 10, It was hard adjusting to a new lifestyle and trying to make a way for me and my people. Moving from Trinidad and Tobago it was two different worlds.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

Located in one of the best cities in the world, Toronto is a city with a lot of culture and entertainment. Being able to attend university in such a great city is special.

What is your favorite snack food?

Gummy bears

What is the best part of football?

The competition aspect, it’s a sport like no other, you go to battle with the guys next to you, leave it all out on the field, and at the end of the day hopefully you put in enough effort and contributed enough for a win. The process of grinding out a win is a feeling nothing else can replace.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

Watch my film, the passion speaks for itself.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

Saquon Barkley

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Floyd Mayweather, Muhammed Ali, and Kobe Bryant
