A star high school quarterback was killed in a car accident last night, according to sources.

Nick Miner, a three-year varsity quarterback for East River High School in Orlando, died Saturday night in a car accident.

Miner was one of the best dual threat quarterbacks in the State of Florida. The 6’2 QB had more than 3,100 career passing yards and 33 touchdowns.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol Miner, 18, of Orlando, was the driver of a pickup truck that stopped to help another driver stuck on the side of the road, when he was hit and killed after another car crashed into his truck.

Please keep his family in your prayers during this tough time.
