Top NCAA Division 3 Football Matchups of Week 5

Wheaton College (IL) at North Central College 

Should be a very intriguing CCIW matchup here. The Cardinals are led offensively by senior running back Ethan Greenfield who has 344 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns this season. Defensively for Wheaton they have senior defensive back Sam Bell who has 15 tackles, 3 interceptions and 2 PBUs in 2022. The Thunder offense has sophomore wide receiver Ben Bonga who has 325 receiving yards and 1 touchdown this season. North Central’s defense has junior defensive back Julian Bell who has 10 tackles and 4 PBUs in 2022.

University of Wisconsin Whitewater at University of Wisconsin La Crosse 

The Eagles against the Warhawks in a huge battle in Wisconsin. Senior running back Joey Stutzman has 350 rushing yards and 1 touchdown in 2022 for La Crosse. Defensively for the Warhawks they have junior defensive back Egon Hein who has 13 tackles and 2 PBUs this season. The Whitewater offense has senior wide receiver Tyler Holte who has 227 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns in 2022. Defensively for the Eagles they have senior defensive back Elijah Alt who has 14 tackles and 2 PBUs this season.

Delaware Valley University at Stevenson University 

The Mustangs against the Aggies. Stevenson’s offense has senior wide receiver Steven Smothers who has 297 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns this season. Defensively for the Aggies they have senior defensive lineman Michael Nobile who has 14 tackles, 6.5 TFLs and 4.5 sacks in 2022. The offense for Delaware Valley has sophomore running back Jay White who has 348 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns this season. The Mustangs defense has Demetrius Salley sophomore linebacker who has 27 tackles, 4 TFLs and 3 sacks in 2022.

Ursinus College at Susquehanna University 

Intriguing matchup in the Centennial Conference. The River Hawks offense has grad tight end Michael Lefever who has 308 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns this season. Defensively for Ursinus they have junior defensive back Ryan DiVergilis who has 19 tackles and 2 interceptions in 2022. The Bears offense has sophomore running back Tony Holden who has 494 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns in this season. Susquehanna’s defense has junior linebacker John Nicosia who has 37 tackles, 3.5 TFLs and 2.5 sacks in 2022.

Bethel University (MN) at Gustavus Adolphus College 

Interesting MIAC matchup here. Gustavus Adolphus’s offense has junior running back Rohee Konde who has 137 rushing yards and 1 touchdown this season. Defensively for the Royals they have sophomore defensive back Kamari Durmas who has 11 tackles, 2 PBUs and 1 interception in 2022. Bethel’s offense has sophomore wide receiver Micah Niewald who has 228 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns this season.
