NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith vows to pursue every legal option over the mishandling of Tua Tagovailoa

As the game ended last night, both Richard Sherman and Andrew Whitworth were texted by NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith who sent the following message.

“We insisted on these rules to avoid exactly this scenario. We will pursue every legal option, including making referrals against the doctors to licensing agencies and the team that is obligated to keep our players safe.”

I keep hearing people say that Tua passed all the tests for the concussion protocol. That is fine, but at the end of the day it does not matter if Tua cleared every possible cognitive test that they administered.

The team doctors still were required BY RULE to determine that the gross motor instability did not have a neurological cause. If you watch the replay, you can see that Tua almost fell when he got up from his head hitting the ground the first time against Buffalo.

The NFL dropped the ball, and the NFLPA needs to crush them. Do you think the NFL will step in and open up an investigation? They should…..
