Tom Brady returns! The GOAT quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is back in the building for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
There were many rumors swirling, but Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network reported on Sunday that Brady left the Bucs for over a week primarily to spend time with his family. Sources told Wilson that Brady visited an exclusive resort with his wife Gisele at one point during the hiatus.
Brady has taken more time off to be with his family during the latter part of his career. He missed OTAs with the New England Patriots in 2018, though those practices are optional. It was uncharacteristic of him to leave his team during an important part of the offseason.
While “Personal reasons” have been the explanation for Brady’s absence and the only added information is that those reasons do not have to do with his health or the health of any family member, it sounds like Brady likely had booked a vacation when he retired. Then realized that he wanted to play and still had the itch to play.
So one of the conditions was probably I need 11 days off during the preseason to spend time with the family and go on vacation, before the kids go back to school. I mean that is a logical explanation no?
