NFL Draft Diamonds Free Agent Interview: Tamrick Pace, Wide Receiver

Tamrick Pace, Stephen F. Austin
Tamrick Pace was a top rated playmaker for Stephen F. Austin in Texas and he is hoping to latch onto a team very soon.

Hello, I am @jrberendzen on Twitter and this is one of my free agent interviews where I ask very deserving free agents questions about the players themselves and about what a team would get in these players. All of these players should get picked up by NFL, CFL, USFL, and XFL teams and get a shot at being a career football player. So I hope you all read this interview and make sure you follow Tamrick on his journey through his social media.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up watching Ladainian Tomlinson play for the Chargers inspired me to play football.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My Mother inspires me the most, seeing her hustle and work ethic everyday.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Lamar Jackson, because he is my favorite player to watch in the NFL today, and to train with him at least once.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring a contagious energy, like an X Factor with my ability to make big plays and stretch the field, keeping opposing defenses guessing.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments from my football life would have to be anytime me and my team when we have won anything together, whether that being the day, week, or the actual game. I love to win and experience that feeling with my teammates, there is no better feeling.

What should we know about Tamrick Pace the person?

I am striving to be not only a better athlete everyday, but also a better person overall. I am just trying to be a light in this dark world.

What is your favorite route and why?

My favorite route is the fade route because I am confident I can win every time with my speed and ability to create separation off the line and my ability to adjust to the ball downfield.

What is your typical training routine?

My typical training routine includes deep stretching and yoga, followed by some sort of body weight workout in the morning, weight lifting in the evenings followed by route running and conditioning.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle challenges both in life and on the field by attacking them head on with the mindset that “I can do anything or overcome anything”. My help comes from the Lord so I lean on him in times of duress.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A guy who is going to show up and be the standard everyday. A leader, by example and action.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to compete professionally, at any level, but the highest level preferred of course, and leave no meat on the bone as far as what I could have done to be the best version of myself.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

I think the most underrated player I have played with is Romello Bentley because of his size, but he has the heart of lion and his work ethic is second to none.
