Five rookies who are destined for a MONSTER rookie season

Steelers’ George Pickens does Antonio Brown’s dance after scoring dazzling touchdown

I have been watching football a long time, but I think there are five rookies this year that are going to really exceed expectations and if you are in fantasy football you may want to jump on them as soon as possible. I am going to go into detail why I think these five players are going to have a huge season.

  1. George Pickens, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers – I am telling you this guy is going to be problems. The Steelers snagged him in the second round and he has been dominating camp. He has been one of the biggest consistencies of Steelers camp. I will not matter what quarterback is passing him the ball, he gets open and his big body and physicality has been on display from day one. I would not be shocked if this guy is a 1000 yard rookie receiver and a top prospect. You cannot cover everyone on Pittsburgh. They have depth at the wide receiver position.
  2. Kenneth Walker, RB, Seattle Seahawks – The Seahawks need for Kenneth Walker has increased in the past couple weeks. With the recent retirement of Chris Carson, the Seahawks will now rely on the rookie from Michigan State to get the job done. I think he is going to be a top rusher in the NFL and he will make plays out of the backfield for their quarterback. I am not sold on Drew Lock at quarterback and I feel checkdowns will be his game. Walker will be the one who benefits from that.
  3. Kaiir Elam, CB, Buffalo Bills/Christian Benford, CB, Buffalo Bills – The Buffalo Bills might have struck gold in their draft on corners. Both Benford and Elam look amazing so far. Benford the late round pick from Villanova put on a showcase this past weekend against the Colts. Elam is so damn freakish, the Bills could be a in good spot if Tre’Davious White cannot return right away. These two rookies may be manning down the outside wide receivers to start the year and I think they will hold their own.
  4. Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers – The Packers drafted Christian Watson early to be the star wide receiver for the Packer, but I would not be shocked if the Nevada standout Doubs becomes the favorite of Aaron Rodgers. He has looked great already in Green and Gold. I think Doubs will end up having a monster year with Davante Adams now on the Raiders. Remember the name, he is going to eat!
  5. Nakobe Dean, LB, Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles struck gold like the Buffalo Bills with both Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean. Both these players were all over the field, but I think Dean is going to be a dog. He was all over the field, and he displayed his speed and technique on multiple occasions. I think he will be a leader on the Eagles defense early. Remember his name he will be in the DROY finalists if he can stay healthy.
